One of the things I love so much about weddings is getting to know your clients. It's been a great joy to get to know Roberta and Mark and then to have been able to be such a large part of their wedding day. I certainly hope it's not the last time I grab a beer downtown with these two!
They planned a beautiful, intimate Sunday evening ceremony at St. Mark's Chapel and when their family headed off to the reception at Cafe Luna, we had the opportunity for a ride in the Raleigh Trolley and some bridal portraits and on the grounds of Mordecai and then at the Capitol building, in downtown Raleigh. Although, the day was a little cloudy we managed to escape with only one little drizzle, which we escaped in the cover of the grand porches of the Capitol building.
After the reception, we went over to Foundation - their favorite bar (which just so happens to be my favorite, as well) for some beers and bourbon. Congratulations, Roberta and Mark!
