Today I get to share with you Annie & Eric’s wedding! This wedding was a wonderful reflection of the impact that these two kind and generous people have made on their family and friends.
I’ve never attended or photographed a wedding where friends and family have contributed as much time and talent as they have to this wedding. From the dress, to the food, decorations, music, even wine - everything was a very personal and generous gift given to help these two celebrate the start of their married life.
The ceremony was held at St. Thomas Aquinas in Dallas, as was the reception. Since everything was in one place, Annie was able to get ready, have a first look, and all the portraits on the church grounds, then walk right over to the reception! The courtyard was the perfect quiet and intimate spot for Annie and Eric to spend some time together before the wedding. These two were just as at ease in front of the camera on their wedding day, as they were for their engagement photos! I had NO problem capturing all the love & excitement between them!
After a lovely ceremony and more portraits with family and the bridal party, everyone headed over to the reception. There was delicious food, wine, lots of toasts, dancing, and a great band. To top it all off Annie’s beautiful family sang her & Eric a prayer for their wedding day. I was definitely in tears by the end of it. As much as the day was a celebration of Annie & Eric’s marriage, it will also be a wonderful reminder of all the love in their life, for many years to come!
