When I sat down with Annie to talk about her October wedding, I instantly knew that I was going to be working with a great couple. Annie’s personality is warm and reflective of her generous nature and when I meet Eric I realized that his silly, fun loving personality fits perfectly with her. He knows exactly how to make her laugh and the two are head over heels in love with each other! Of course, working with them was a breeze! There was lots of cuddling and just being together, which made our session capture their relationship and this season of their life, beautifully. They chose a great spot for their session - Prather Park. It’s actually the location that Eric proposed to Annie and we started out the session in the exact spot he proposed - this lovely stone bridge. Now if Eric tells you a story about a ring plummeting into the water below and you believe him, don't worry - you aren't the only one! Just about 10 minutes into our session, I already knew these two were going to be lots of fun!
I love to photograph sessions in locations that mean a lot to a couple and in this case, what could be better than the beautiful place that marked the start of a new phase in their relationship. We wandered around the park doing some exploring, enjoying some rosé and trying not to get eaten up by mosquitoes (definitely bringing bug spray next time). These two are such a beautiful couple and I can’t wait to shot their October wedding!
